Many hard working families earn too much to quality for state assistance, yet struggle to pay for preschool. To help make quality early education more affordable, Wakiki Community Center started the Thrive by 5 Affordable Preschool Initiative that reduces tuition by about 50% for ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained, Employed) qualifying families.

Starting April 2024 Waikiki Community Center Preschool's monthly tuition will be $550/month for qualified families.*
* Open to all Hawaii residents.*
How to Qualify:
1). Be a full-time Hawaii resident and work in the state.
2). Meet the following income guidelines:
