Food Pantry

The emergency food pantry program is part of the Hawaii Foodbank agency partnership. Fixed-income seniors and ALICE families with young children are at great risk for hunger and nutrition deficiency as the cost of living rises. We plan to build a commercial kitchen to further address hunger and nutrition insecurity with fresh, healthy food for the community.

Additional Info

Our Emergency Food Pantry distributes more than XX pounds of food to more than ## of individuals and families annually. In addition, WCC has partnered with Kapiolani Community College to enable them to provide food to those in need in their own community. Through this partnership, we have distributed over ## pounds of food annually.

WCC distributes food from the Center on Tuesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. In addition, we take the food to where it is needed by delivering regularly to several senior affordable apartment buildings where many of our clients reside.
